ETE’s water cooling plates are made of solid 1/2” aluminum. Water passages are machined-in. Comparing to the typical cold plates with embedded pipes, machined-in cold plates performs much better because the re is one less thermal interface. Another advantage of machined-in water passage is that both sides of the cold plates are fully available for interfacing with any heat dissipating devices. ETE’s cold plates are also preassembled with quick disconnect fittings that work with 1/4” OD tube so that all you have to do is to plug in your connections instead of figuring out what you need to interface with the cold plate.

WP-02 is 5.5” x5.5” x 0.5”, it is made of 0.5” aluminum with two swivel elbow instant press-in tube fittings. The water path is shown in the outline in datasheet. Because the water path is machined in, users can use both sides of the plate for cooling any power devices. |

WP-03 is 4.6” x 4.3” x 0.5’, it is also made of 0.5” thick aluminum. It is anodized, with brass plugs and acetal instant press in tube fittings. It has more machined in water passages to improve cooling effectiveness. It has mounting patterns for nLight Pearl series diodes. Users can use either side for cooling any power devices. |
